I was made aware of loose and broken tiles following solar installation. Toby came out the same day and we arranged a repair whilst scaffolding still in situ. Prompt, courteous and efficient service, would highly recommend.Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Toby and his team carried out a complete refurbishment on my 99 year old leaking chimney. Toby carried out an initial inspection which threw up several issues. He explained what was required and offered a very reasonable quotation. The team carried out all of the required work in an efficient and professional manner and Toby kept me informed at every stage. I really enjoyed working with him and would not hesitate to use his sevices again. Thank you R1 Roofing. Keep up the good work.Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Excellent work from Toby and his team from start to finish. From the initial survey he explained the nature of the problem and the work that needed to be done, produced a very reasonable estimate and did the job efficiently, quickly and cleanly. When additional work on the roof valleys and verges was identified in the course of the original work he quoted for undertook the extra work as part of the same job saving me a lot of extra time. The work is of excellent quality and Toby is a trustworthy friendly and patient individual and I would recommend him and his team enthusiastically. R1 Roofing completed a new roof with replacement guttering and the rendering of a shared parapet wall on our property after several defects were discovered on closer inspection. Without Toby’s knowledge and problem solving abilities we would have continued to have issues with our existing roof for many years to come had a thorough investigation not taken place once the scaffolding was in place. There was no hard sell and everything was explained clearly, we even sourced a second opinion however Toby’s reliability, patience and fairness was worth every penny. The team worked tirelessly in some very hot conditions during the summer of 2026 but still got the job finished on time and on budget. The roof looks great! I’m now looking forward to a dry winter indoors. I would have no hesitation in recommending R1 Roofing and our neighbours have already given Toby more work for later in the year.Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google.
